Fast: the Naca table selected for the ADI Design Index 2026

The ADI Permanent Design Observatory has officially selected the Naca table for the ADI Design Index 2026, the prestigious annual selection showcasing the finest Italian design products brought into production.

This important recognition places Naca among the official nominees for the next Compasso d’Oro Award, one of the most internationally renowned awards in the field of design.

Designed by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces, Naca embodies a refined balance between structural engineering, material physics and aesthetic research.

At the heart of the project are the table legs: not simply structural elements, but the defining feature of the entire design. Inspired by aeronautics — from which the name Naca originates — and by biomimicry, their form elegantly recalls the lightness and geometry of a dragonfly’s wing.
Produced through aluminium extrusion and die-casting, these components determine both the visual identity and the proportions of each version of the table.

The result is a complete and versatile collection, available in round, square and rectangular versions, as well as low tables, with a selection of elegant tops in aluminium, porcelain stoneware, lava stone and Teak.

Naca’s inclusion in the ADI Design Index is an important recognition of Fast’s ongoing commitment to research, innovation and design excellence, celebrating a project that brings together advanced engineering, manufacturing quality and refined aesthetics.

The Naca table will also be on display at the ADI Design Museum in Milan, at Piazza Compasso d’Oro 1.
The exhibition opened with an exclusive inaugural event on 1 October 2026 and will remain open to the public until 15 October 2026.
